christmas is almost here!! the closer it gets the more excited i become, even though i have so much to do before then. i have all of my shopping to finish, and it a hard task to accomplish with no money and such a busy schedual. i am sad because this year we are having christmas at my sister's new house in smithton, but because of the mater dei holiday tournament, i will not be able to spend it with my family. the only thing i want for christmas is a iphone (a hint to anyone who reads this ;] ...).
Tonight is our first home basketball game and I am getting more nervous every time I think about it. Practices are becoming quite overwhelming, along with homework and work. I hope tonight goes okay. The Thanksgiving Tounament in Effingham went alright, especially for being the first game of the season. I can already assume there will be a ton of people there tonight, so I hope they keep my spirits up, because I am freaking out right now =s.

Our first game is next week, and we could not be more lucky =/. Ms. Harris has now added Tuesday and Friday morning practices from 6:30-7:45. We work so hard every practice, but I feel like we do not accomplish anything because we all get so frusturated. Now that our first game is so soon, it is even worse. We have finally got out line-up cheer figured out, but that's about it. I hope everything goes alright =s.
I have been very busy lately. With my internship and other homework all due soon, work twice a week, and cheerleading three days a week I am beginning to stress out about everything. With our first basketball game in two weeks, practices are starting to become more cram packed because we all want everyone to see how hard we have worked. As much as I wish we were, we are not ready at all for our first game.

This has been a very tiring week. Our first game for cheerleading is November 24 and I am starting to get very nervous. We have worked very hard this year and hopefully it will pay off. Because of so many injuries, we have been held back a lot, but during this time, have had time to work on syncrinization and crowd appeal. Yesterday we mounted for a while, but we have not had a practice with everyone there I cannot even remember when. There is nothing that I want more than to be good and prove to everyone how hard we have worked.

The last two days I've been pretty bummed. I have so much to do all week long that I no longer have time to spend time with my family or friends. I have cheerleading Monday and Wednesday for three hours and Thurday I have gymnastics in O'Fallon for an hour and a half. I also am the assistant coach for the fifth through eighth grade cheerleading squads at District 12 that I have to attend Monday, Thuesday, and Thusday. This year I got an intership with the Union Banner, and while I am very excited about it, it also takes time and effort. All in all, I'm exhausted.
This week has been a very long week. In cheerleading, we just back into stunting after a 2-3 month break! It has been a struggle, but I hope to get back to where we were so that we can show everyone how hard we have really worked this year. Last night at gymnastics I got my round-off back-hand-spring by myself! I was really excited because I have worked so long and hard for it. Tonight I have to work, but tomorrow I hope to do something a little more exciting! =]

Homecoming Week!

This week has been crazy. I have been so busy working on homework, cheerleading practices, lip sync practices, and my job. Yesterday was the lip sync contest and it was a blast! Tomorrow is homecoming and I cannot wait. We got a senior party bus that will take us to Fairview to eat at TGI Friday's. I will get back to you after homecoming to tell you all the details =]!!!

Milkbowl

On Friday, I went to the Milkbowl football game between the two biggest Clinton County rivals: the Central Cougars and the Mater Dei Knights. The first half was looking really good, there was no score for a good while and Central's defense was stifling the vaunted Mater Dei offense. Quarterback Justin Vonderhaar and his gang of Knights had no answer for Central's blitz scheme. Unfortunately, Central's defense quickly faded and Mater Dei claimed the Milkbowl title once again. Better luck next year!

My Perfect World =]

In my perfect world, everyone would get along, nobody would be judged, girls would not have to wear makeup, and boys would not have to be "tough" to fit in. In my perfect world, there would be no such thing as cliques or "popular kids" because there is not one person more surperior or better than the next. It has become evident to me that no matter what, no one person can make everyone get along no matter how hard they may try. What bothers me the most is that, because we do not live in a perfect world whatsoever, there are indeed cliques and because one group of individuals does not dress or have common interests with another group, they cannot seem to get along. Judging a person by the way they dress or act is one of my biggest pet peeves because until you actually know a person, you have no idea what type of personality they have. If there was one thing I could ask of everyone, it would be do not judge anything, whether it be a book, a person, or a school, before you have given it a chance.
