It finally snowed! Two days off school and I'm already finding it hard to get back into the school schedual. Competition was on Sunday and we did okay. We got 4th out of 13 and were only 4 points away from 2nd place. We compete again on Sunday, and because we are not allowed to go to ICCA state, even though we qualified, I am very nervous because this is our only chance to make it to state. With only two more day until competion, I am becoming more anxious every time I think about it.

Today is Tuesday, January 20,2009. The Presidential Inauguration took place today and it snowed for the first time all winter, so I guess you could say this is a pretty exciting day. Tonight I have cheerleading practice from 3-5:30 and then work from 5:30-11. I dread Tuesday's, but especially today because with our first competition 5 days from today, I get butterflies in my stomach every time I think about it. Yesterday, we had practice from 9-12 and then again from 1-3. It was a very stressful day, considering we ran through our entire routine for 2 hours and I could not stick every mount all day. Hopefully today goes better.

This morning I walked outside could not believe how cold it was. I was up late last night finishing up my Union Banner article that I waited until the last minute to finish =], but as soon as I walked outside I was awake in an instant. If only it would snow, I would be so much happier. I have gymnastics tonight, and the past two weeks, I do not think I have ever been so sore in my life! I cannot walk up and down my steps, I have to take one step at a time and bending down is very painful. the sacrifices we make to be cheerleaders. =] Not that you would understand Mark ;]
Cheerleading, work, school, and more cheerleading. That is what my life consists of as of now. With school back in full swing, I have no time for sleep or any sort of social life. I have school all day, cheerleading, and then work after cheerleading on Tuesdays, and on whatever weekend day I do not have a game. Hopefully all of this pays off in the end because it sure is miserable now!
